This 60 devotional is geared specifically towards those who
are caring for someone with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Each day has a
Scripture reading followed by a brief devotional. Also included is a thought
following the devotional and reflections on the reading. There is a space to write
answers to the questions and to journal.
This would be helpful for anyone who is dealing with someone
with a form of dementia. It contains both practical advice and encouragement.
This book gives permission for the caregiver to slow down and reflect on their
feelings of isolation, frustration and grief to name a few. While there are no
simple answers, the reader will leave with a feeling of hope and the sense that
they are not alone.
I received this book from Moody Publishers in exchange for
this honest review.
